September 11th

We all remember where we were on that infamous day. I was in my office when a co-worker told me that a plane had hit one of the towers. Soon afterwards we heard about the second tower. My company did a lot of business with Cantor Fitzgerald so we all knew that there were most likely people we had spoken to who were now dead.

People in my office were crying and afraid. We all wondered what had really happened. When we found out what had really happened we were all in stunned silence. At that point I wanted those who did this to pay. I threw my support totally behind President Bush. I did not vote for him but in a time of crisis we rally together. How six years have changed everything.

Osama Bin Laden is alive and well and making videotapes and President Bush says he does not spend a lot of time on him. Oh really Mr. President? The man that killed 3000 of our people is not worth your thoughts yet invading the wrong country is? Your actions since 9/11 have destroyed two countries. Iraq and Afghanistan lead the world in suicide bombings. The civilian death toll in Iraq by some accounts has passed 500,000 and the number of dead soldiers is close to 3800. The standing of America in the world is the lowest in my lifetime after being the highest after 9/11.

For most people actions have consequences but for George W. Bush and Osama Bin Laden life works differently and the entire world suffers as a result.

Ari Fleischer Rears His Ugly Head To Cheerlead The Iraq War

A sort of shadow White House communications shop has emerged to help the beleaguered president sell his unpopular war to the American people.

Freedom's Watch was formed by former White House and Bush administration officials and funded by Republican big-money donors. Today it began airing $15 million worth of ads -- featuring veterans and their families -- aimed at influencing wavering members of Congress.

"I know what I lost," says one of those in a TV ad, veteran John Kriesel, who lost both legs in a blast near Fallujah last December. "I also know if we pull out now, everything I've given and sacrificed will mean nothing."
Ari Fleischer was on MSNBC's Hardball yesterday and was asked the name of the soldier in the ad. he could not name that soldier. That should tell you all you need to know about this group. The soldiers are once again just props to spread propaganda and once again they try to tie 9/11 to Iraq. Its more lies. Please watch the video and judge for yourself. Ari Fleischer used to get up every moring, put on his suit and tie and go out and lie to the American public. He is doing that again. Lets call him on it.

Petraeus Report To Be Given On 9/11

First we found out that the September report everyone has been waiting for will not be written by General Petraeus but by the White House now they have changed the date from 9/15 to 9/11 for his testimony before Congress.

This administration will do anything to avoid telling the truth to the American public including using the deaths of 3000 on 9/11 to justify the continuation of this debacle in Iraq. The problem is that Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. People that still beleive that it did need to turn off Fox News and educate themselves.

This administration relies on the stupidity of the American population. Lets show them that we are not stupid and reject this blatant dog and pny show scheduled for 9/11.

Giuliani Is Wrong

Rudy Giuliani got into a heated argument with Ron Paul during the Republican debate for President when Mr. Paul suggested that it was United States policies that caused the attack of 911. Giuliani who has made a fortune off of 911 and who offers nothing else as a qualification for his candidacy, struck back with the usual talking points of them hating us for our freedom. This argument is so tired and easily dispelled that its a wonder anyone still invokes it. Why not Canada, Sweden, Italy or any number of other countries that enjoy the same freedoms as we do? This is the simplistic argument for those too dumb to research the real reasons or too ideologically predisposed to explore any other possibilities. I am in no way saying that the attack of 911 was warranted but to believe in such a simplistic view of the reason for the attack makes the likelihood of another even greater. How can we fight what we won't even try to understand. Understanding does not mean condone or accept but until we know the reasons why people are willing to die in order to hurt us, this will never stop. We will live in a perpetual state of war. Rudy Giuliani is worth millions as a result of his image after 911.

Mr. Giuliani should put his money where his mouth is and donate half of his net worth acquired since 911. There are 40,000 sick first responders from 911 who could use just a portion of the millions he has earned as a result of this horrible incident. Many of those sick fault Giuliani for allowing them to work in unsafe conditions. There are others that feel he knew the dangers and did nothing. He is considered a security expert when it was his decision to place the NYC emergency command center in the World Trade Center Complex which was bombed previously in 1993. It is time for the 911 halo to be removed from his head. It has no place there.

In this clip he blames Democrats for 911. He really is disgusting!!! Without 911, he would be just be the former unpopular mayor of NYC.

George Tenet on 60 Minutes

In a widely anticipated interview with 60 Minutes, George Tenet, the former Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, discussed his tenure at the CIA, 9/11 and the so called "slam dunk" comment. Tenet seemed combative, defensive and apologetic. Tomorrow his book "At The Center Of The Storm" hits bookstores. This book is sure to add even more fuel to the fire that Vice President Cheney had an unusually big role in the decision to go to war with Iraq. George Tenet became the scapegoat for a failed policy that chose war in Iraq even though he knew that Iraq had no part in the attacks of September 11. This interview should be seen by everyone.

Giuliani Says a Democratic President Will Lead to Terrorism

Rudy Giuliani who made the decision to place the NYC Emergency Response Center in the World Trade Complex after it was attacked in 1993 has said that a Democratic Presidential victory will lead to another terrorist attack.
Democratic presidential candidates on Wednesday rebuked Republican rival Rudy Giuliani for suggesting that the United States could face another major terrorist attack if a Democrat is elected in 2008. The former New York mayor did not back down.

Illinois Sen. Barack Obama said Giuliani, who was in office on Sept. 11, 2001, should not be making the terrorist threat into “the punchline of another political attack.”

Giuliani stood by his comments Wednesday, saying Democrats don't understand the threat posed by terrorists.

“They do not seem to get the fact that there are people, terrorists in this world, really dangerous people that want to come here and kill us,” Giuliani said on “The Sean Hannity Show,” according to a transcript distributed by his campaign. “They want to take us back to not being as alert which to me will just extend this war much, much longer.”
Did Rudy forget that it was a Republican President that was in office on September 11, 2001? Did he forget that Osama Bin Laden is still free? Did he forget that those responsible for the 1993 bombing are all in jail as a result of action by the Clinton Administration? Rudy is taking a play out of Rove's book but this time it will not work. The Bush Administration has been a disaster on every level and Rudy can't lick their boots quickly enough.
