The Real Rudy

The man who is trying to be the President of 9/11 has some explaining to do!! I am still baffled as to why this clown is even running for President let alone is a top contender for the Republican Party. He has become rich and powerful as a result of 9/11. The term blood money never had such a clear description.

Giuliani - Balance a Tax Cut With More Tax Cuts

This is Republican economics, tax cuts to offset the tax cuts.
Republican presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani said Friday that the alternative minimum tax — which is expected to generate as much as $1 trillion over the next 10 years — could be eliminated by balancing it out with even more tax cuts.

Giuliani's remarks prompted a bewildered response from his audience of technology executives. Both Republicans and Democrats said they assumed that the candidate must have misspoke as he responded to a question about the tax and its affect the middle class.
Giuliani left the speech without taking questions from reporters. His campaign did not immediately return a call seeking comment.

The alternative minimum tax, or AMT, was enacted in 1969 to ensure that a handful of wealthy taxpayers could not exploit a series of loopholes to avoid paying any income taxes.
This man is not ready to be the President of anything. He is a worthless tool who either is too stupid to understand economics or more likely is just pandering to the right wing base which assumes that God will provide for everything so why have taxes.

The Real Rudy

Watch this new short film about Rudy Giuliani. I just can't stand this man. How can this be the Republican front runner? Why not just choose Larry Craig for the Republican nomination for President?

Is Giuliani's Daughter An Obama Supporter?

When I saw this story I had to post it.
Rudolph W. Giuliani's daughter, Caroline, has done her best to keep out of the spotlight as her father runs for president, choosing to keep complicated family matters private. And for his part, Mr. Giuliani has tried to shield both her and his son, Andrew, from attention.

But the very public nature of the way young adults socialize via the Internet, posting private musings for all the world to see, thrust her into the limelight today with word that her online profile suggested she supported Senator Barack Obama’s presidential bid.

On her profile in Facebook, the popular online social networking site, Ms. Giuliani, 17, listed her political views as “liberal” and noted her membership in a group called “Barack Obama (One Million Strong for Barack).”
Rudy Giuliani's children do not even like him. That says all anyone really needs to know about Rudy. When your own children can't support you that should be all America needs to know.

Rudy Is Such An Asshole

I am so tired of hearing this worthless blowhard spout his nonsense. Today we got to hear his words of wisdom on healthcare, global warming and illegal immigration.
"The American way is not single-payer, government-controlled anything," Giuliani said. "That’s a European way of doing something. That’s a, frankly, a Socialist way of doing something."

"If single-payer systems are cracking all over the world, why would we do it in America. Michael Moore wants to take you to Cuba for your health care. Anyone want to sign up? I didn’t think so. Maybe the Democrats will sign up."
What is Giuliani's health plan? He wants to give tax breaks, like the tax break will somehow make the family of four earning $30,000.00 able to afford the $1,000.00 monthly premium. He had other pearls of wisdom dripping from his worthless mouth.
He said he can solve global warming in five to 15 years and would end illegal immigration in a year and a half to three years. “I give ourselves 18 month to three years to accomplish it,” he said.
I am sure that Al Gore must be burning up the phone lines to Rudy to get his secret to solving one of the great issues facing the world and in just 5 -15 years. When can we expect to see Rudy outline his plan for illegal immigration on Lou Dobbs Tonight?

Rudy is a hack who has made his fortune as a result of 9/11. It is the lowest form of blood money. Rudy will say anything to get elected President. His own children find him questionable.

Michael Moore posted this video in response to the Giuliani comments:

Giuliani and Romney May Skip You Tube Debate

Republican presidential front-runner Rudy Giuliani may have better things to do than answer YouTube users' questions at the GOP debate in St. Petersburg.
The news broke late Thursday that the former New York City mayor has scheduling issues with the Sept. 17 date, jeopardizing the showdown at the Mahaffey Theater.

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney also is frowning on the plan.

"I think the presidency ought to be held at a higher level than having to answer questions from a snowman," Romney told the Manchester (N.H.) Union Leader this week.
What each of these men are trying to say is that questions from regular Americans may be too difficult to answer so they will not show up. Giuliani may be forced to answer questions about his judgement since it was his decision to place the NYC emergency center into the complex that had been bombed once before. It was his decision to hire Bernard Kerik a man with suspicious ties to organized crime. It was his decision to announce his divorce from his second wife on television without his wife's knowledge. I could go on and on but I won't bore you with the facts. Time will bring this and more out in the open for the Republican front runner.

Mitt Romney may be confronted with his many flip flops on issues from abortion to gay rights. They don't call him multiple choice Mitt for nothing. He looks good but is there any real substance behind him? Is there anything that he truly believes in?

So far only Ron Paul and John McCain have agreed to the debate. Everyone should call these campaigns and demand that they answer questions from ordinary Americans. I find it funny that men who scream about taking the fight to the terrorists are so afraid of the little guy.

Giuliani and the Suspected Child Molester

The news regarding Rudy Giuliani just keeps getting worse. Does this man have any judgement at all? Lets look at some of his foibles:

He decided to place the NYC emergency control center in the World Trade Center AFTER it had been bombed once before.

He asked George W. Bush to nominate Bernard Kerik as Secy. of Homeland Security even though Kerik had ties to known mobsters.

Supposedly on 9/11 he told Bernard Kerik "Thank God George W. Bush is our President" (that one made me want to throw up a little in my own mouth)

And now the latest revelation:

Giuliani Employs suspected child molester.
Giuliani employs his childhood friend Monsignor Alan Placa as a consultant at Giuliani Partners despite a 2003 Suffolk County, N.Y., grand jury report that accuses Placa of sexually abusing children, as well as helping cover up the sexual abuse of children by other priests. Placa, who was part of a three-person team that handled allegations of abuse by clergy for the Diocese of Rockville Centre, is referred to as Priest F in the grand jury report. The report summarizes the testimony of multiple alleged victims of Priest F, and then notes, "Ironically, Priest F would later become instrumental in the development of Diocesan policy in response to allegations of sexual abuse of children by priests."

Five years after he was suspended from his duties because of the abuse allegations, Placa is currently listed as "priest in residence" at St. Aloysius Church in Great Neck, N.Y., where close friend Brendan Riordan serves as pastor, and officially lives at the rectory there with Riordan. In addition, Placa co-owns a penthouse apartment in Manhattan with Riordan, the latest in a half-dozen properties the two men have owned in common at various times since the late 1980s.

I wonder how the religious right will respond to this revelation? That sound you just heard is the sound of Giuliani's poll numbers hitting the floor.

Giuliani A No-Show At Iraq Study Group

Republican presidential contender Rudy Giuliani said Wednesday it was a mistake for him to join the Iraq Study Group, on which he lasted just two months and failed to show up for any official meetings.
The former New York mayor has tried to tamp down criticism in recent days after Newsday reported that Giuliani was a no-show for two of the group's meetings and instead attended paid public appearances.
How can we forget that he has made over $66 million dollars in speeches off of the tragedy of 9/11. Now we know where his priorities lie. Maybe he was afraid that being part of the group would have meant having to go to Iraq. And in another example of his hypocricy:

In his speech, Giuliani called for the country to enact a constitutional amendment that allows for a line-item veto so the president could strip wasteful spending from legislation. "The president doesn't have that power under our Constitution," he said. "You're only going to change that with a constitutional amendment."
As mayor in the 1990s, Giuliani successfully sued to challenge the constitutionality of the line-item veto that would have given President Clinton that such power.
Giuliani is an opportunist who has made a fortune off the deaths of 3000 people killed on 9/11. This gives blood money a whole new meaning.

Giuliani SC Campaign Chair Arrested

Gov. Mark Sanford has suspended state Treasurer Thomas Ravenel after it was announced Tuesday the Charleston Republican had been indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute cocaine.

Ravenel in April was named the state chairman for former New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani’s presidential campaign, but he resigned that post this evening.
Rudy hasn't had the best week. First Fred Thompson, who has not even announced, has pulled within points of frontrunner Giuliani. Then Michael Sheehan, a major contributor was revealed as the head of a Vulture Fund that was trying to force an obscene judgement on Zambia and now this.

I have said it before and will say it again, it could not happen to a nicer guy.

Religious Right Will Not Support Giuliani

A growing number of influential social conservatives are speaking out against Rudy Giuliani, with some threatening that they will take flight from the Republican Party in 2008 if the former New York mayor is the GOP nominee.

Giuliani's support for abortion rights and gay rights has not to date prevented him from winning the support of a sizable number of socially conservative voters, according to polls. But the continued strength of his candidacy is causing alarm among leaders of conservative advocacy groups, many of which have been major players in Republican politics.
How I love it when moderate Republicans are tossed under the bus by the so called religious conservatives. With less people registering as Republicans, can Giuliani put together enough support without religious conservatives to win the nomination? My guess is no. Giuliani will be the Howard Dean of 2008 and it could not happen to a nicer guy.

Giuliani No Longer Supports Civil Unions

In a complete reversal of his stated position on civil unions for gay and lesbian couples, Rudy Giuliani said he does not support a law recently passed in New Hampshire allowing such unions
" Mayor Giuliani believes marriage is between one man and one woman. Domestic partnerships are the appropriate way to ensure that people are treated fairly," the Giuliani campaign said in a written response to a question from the Sun. "In this specific case the law states same sex civil unions are the equivalent of marriage and recognizes same sex unions from outside states. This goes too far and Mayor Giuliani does not support it."
I wonder if Rudy called the gay couple that he lived with after his second wife discovered his affair, with his now third wife, and told them that he was against any legal rights for them? Why do people who show no respect for marriage in any way seem so determined to tell me that my relationship is wrong? The one difference between myself and Rudy is that I have never cheated on anyone that have been in a relationship with. Is there anyone in the Republican field that can say that? These people make me sick. Rudy is a worthless panderer who has now insured that even if he won the nomination, he will lose New York.

Giuliani Says a Democratic President Will Lead to Terrorism

Rudy Giuliani who made the decision to place the NYC Emergency Response Center in the World Trade Complex after it was attacked in 1993 has said that a Democratic Presidential victory will lead to another terrorist attack.
Democratic presidential candidates on Wednesday rebuked Republican rival Rudy Giuliani for suggesting that the United States could face another major terrorist attack if a Democrat is elected in 2008. The former New York mayor did not back down.

Illinois Sen. Barack Obama said Giuliani, who was in office on Sept. 11, 2001, should not be making the terrorist threat into “the punchline of another political attack.”

Giuliani stood by his comments Wednesday, saying Democrats don't understand the threat posed by terrorists.

“They do not seem to get the fact that there are people, terrorists in this world, really dangerous people that want to come here and kill us,” Giuliani said on “The Sean Hannity Show,” according to a transcript distributed by his campaign. “They want to take us back to not being as alert which to me will just extend this war much, much longer.”
Did Rudy forget that it was a Republican President that was in office on September 11, 2001? Did he forget that Osama Bin Laden is still free? Did he forget that those responsible for the 1993 bombing are all in jail as a result of action by the Clinton Administration? Rudy is taking a play out of Rove's book but this time it will not work. The Bush Administration has been a disaster on every level and Rudy can't lick their boots quickly enough.
