Pakistan Near Collapse?

With suicide bombers killing scores in Iraq and Afghanistan and Pakistan near collapse, the policies of George W. Bush are coming home to roost. Had he not decided to start a war with Iraq long before September 11th and had instead concentrated on getting those who attacked us we would not be looking at the real possibility of those loyal to Osama Bin Laden taking over a nuclear armed Pakistan.

How can anyone still defend the Bush administration. They destroyed our standing in the world and left a world more dangerous than the one they found. Many members of this administration should be trading cigarettes for their lives in a maximum security prison. The mess these criminals left behind will be with us for a generation. We must as Americans demand they be held accountable and must look under every rock for the truth no matter what that truth tells us. Its time for the Obama Administration to make an example of these crooks.

Brilliant Speech By Hillary Clinton

I think this speech just sent shivers down the spines of the Republicans who were hoping for a fractured Democratic Convention. The Republicans truly are bad for the average working American. When will the middle class stop voting against their own economic best interests?

Hillary Clinton Concedes

She may have lost but she has forever changed the role of women in politics. I didn't always agree with her tactics but I did feel something wonderful was lost today when she ended her historic run for the Presidency. Unfortunately only one could win but both made history. Hillary Clinton will remain a force to be reckoned with and will forever be known as the woman who broke through so many boundaries. Love her or hate her it is hard not to feel some sense of pride in her accomplishments and some sadness that someone had to lose..

Hillary Clinton Will Vote No On Additional Funding For The Iraq War

I am probably one of the few that understand why Hillary Clinton voted for the war authorization in the first place. I believe she was in a uniquely difficult position on this vote. Had she voted against the authorization to use force and weapons were found she would have looked weak. Having spent eight years in a White House that also believed weapons of mass destruction may still be in Iraq, a vote against the authorization would have been spun into a rebuke of her husband's policies during his Presidency. Those who insist that she apologize for that vote don't understand the extra scrutiny that she is subjected to as a result of being the right wings number one hated person. Do I agree with her vote, absolutely not, but I can understand politically why she made that choice. I am not supporting Hillary Clinton for President, actually I have not decided whom to support. Her remarks on "Meet The Press" today were firm against continuing this war and she understands the only way to stop it is to vote against additional spending. I applaud her for this firm stance.

Hillary Hits Back At Cheney

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton on Wednesday accused Vice President Dick Cheney of falsely portraying her attempt to get Iraq planning information out of the Pentagon.
The Democratic presidential front-runner has been hammering at the Bush administration for two weeks since a top Pentagon aide refused to tell her whether or how the military was planning for the eventual withdrawal of U.S. forces from Iraq.

In a letter to the vice president, she accused Cheney of offering "inaccuracies" in opposing her request.

She used even tougher language in an appeal sent to supporters of her presidential bid: "I couldn't care less what Dick Cheney says about me. But when he plays politics with the lives of our troops, you had better be sure I'm going to respond. And I know that you want to respond too."
Hillary Clinton did not ask for specific military plans, she simply asked if plans were being readied for troop withdrawal. That is a more than legitimate question and one that should have been asked a long time ago. The Pentagon chose to question her patriotism.

That is the motus operandi for these freaks. It is always the first response to criticism of their policies. It is good to see a Democrat hitting back hard at this rubbish. True support for our troops includes not sending them to a needless war and when it is necessary to send them you must have a real plan for both victory and withdrawal. The Iraq War has been a disaster since day one, probably because it was the wrong war at the wrong time.

Dick Cheney was a draft dodger and him questioning anyone about their patriotism when he said he had other things to do during Vietnam is hypocrisy at its highest level. The puppet master Cheney is a soulless monster clearly out of touch with reality.
